He graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in 1978 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University in 1982. He began his legal career that year as a deputy district attorney in Reno, Nevada, and relocated to Las Vegas in 1984. From 1984 to 1989 his practice covered criminal defense, insurance defense, and personal injury — experience on the defense side that still informs how he evaluates a claim today.
In 1991 he established the Law Office of Bruce D. Schupp, concentrating on personal injury. Over the course of his career he has represented thousands of clients injured through the negligence of others.
